A wonderful trip to Nebraska

Wayne and Susan have put many hours into their garden and it is massive! After arriving we immediately went to work harvesting some of the crop.

This was just the beginning...


The "work" continued in the kitchen as we prepared 22 large bags of peppers to freeze. Mmmmm, thinking about the future meals we could make with these was a great motivator to keep us going.
Mmmmmm, luckily for us we didn't have to wait to long to taste the harvest. Susan made an amazing home-made pizza.
