My Grandma Fisher passed away.
I have so many memories of traveling to see her and my grandpa and them traveling to see us.
There is something special about having grandparents who live far away:
-when you go to visit or they come to visit you cherish that time even more because you don't get to see them as often.
-you have memories of sleep-overs
-going to their favorite places to eat
-waking up and watching cartoons at their house
-the anticipation of a weekend at grandma's and grandpa's
-the family road trips to get to their house
There is just something special about going to Grandma and Grandpa's house.
As it became clear she could no longer live on your own, I was so thankful she moved closer to us where we could visit her often and bring her to family events and see her thrive in your new home.
She was also able to see all of her great grand kids often.
A life lived well!
Thankful for all the memories!

Thank you! What a beautiful tribute to Grandma Fisher! She was so proud of all of you and having 5 great-grandchildren was a bonus. She dearly loved each of you as did Grandpa!
